Bulldogs Edge FV Twins
Drew Baldwin hurled a 2 hit shutout in a 1-0 win on the road. Baldwin had 12 strikeouts and no walks. Kenny Swab scored allthe way from second base on a fielders choice grounder in the fourth for the lone Bulldog run.Swab with a 2-3 and Ashton Paige and Trevor Leonard with 1-2 paced the offense.
Bulldogs Rally past Prohelific
The Bulldogs spotted the Power four early runs but Wesley Edwards and Luke Wilhelm hurled 6 innings of 1 hit ball to secure of 10-5 win. Wilhelm picked up the win. Derek Brown, Brandon Mckinney, Kyle Wooden, Trevor Edwards paced the offense.
Bulldogs Take Two from W. Va. Wild
In game one a 9-2 win was paced on the mound by Zach Joyce and Luke Wilhelm's two hitter. Joyce struck out 6 in picking up the win. Kyle Wooden and Hunter Boehme with 2 rbis each on two hits each joined Ben Hunt and Brandon McKinney to anchor the defense. In game two a 12-3 win it was Adam Hart in relief along with Cory Norman holding the Wild to only 2 hits and Hart got the win. Kyle Wooden with a 4-6 day, homer and 4 rbis along with Trevor Edward's 2 run homer and Travis Starbuck with 2 rbi's paced the offense.
Bulldogs Take Two from Catawba Valley
The Bulldogs took a 4-0 win behind the 5 hit pitching of Nick Oelker. Oelker had 10 strikeouts in recording the win. Kenny Swab and Kyle Wooden paced the offense with 2 hits each and Wooden had 2 rbis. Aaron Jones contributed a double. In Game two a five run fifth inning highlighed by Brandon McKinney's Grandslam homerun pushed Kernersville to a 5-3 win. Luke Wilhelm in relief of DJ Hearsey picked up the win on the mound hurling 2 inning of shut out baseball.
Adam Hart picked up the win hurling 3 shutout innings as the Bulldogs topped the marlins 5-4. Kyle Wooden's rbi singlein the seventh inning produced the game winner.Aaron Jones and Wooden had two hits each.
