Congratulations to Bulldog Performers that made the NCAA Regionals and the NJCAA College World Series. Drew Baldwin worked in four of the five games for Salisbury State College on the mound as the nationally ranked club fell one game short of the World series losing in South regional.
Tyler Benton of Hutchinson Kansas opens play May 29 in Grand Junction, Colorado home of the D1 Junior College World Series.
Aaron Jones will travel to Enid,Oklahoma as his Lenior Community college team will start play in the D2 Juco World Series

Quick update of former Bulldogs in the minors: Cory Harrilchak currently hitting .270 for the Rome Braves after a quick stint in high A Myrtle Beach. CJ Beatty currently hitting .314 in the Cardinal organization at Quad Cities. Rhett Ballard is at Asheville in the Rockies organization and has a 4.71era in 15 games on the mound. Corey Martin is 1-1 for the Peroria Chiefs in the Midwest A league. Matt McSwain is currently inactive on the double A Pirates roster.
Several players are on short season rosters and will be going out from extended spring soon. Tyler Sexton will be with the Aberdeen Ironbirds in the Baltimore organization. Derrick Lowery will be with the Arizona league Reds and will play against Andrew Morton's Arizona Padres. Chris Jacobs after a quick stint with the midwest league Great Lake Loons will be going out in the LA Dodgers organization.
Jeremy Jones in the Frontier League is in his second season of Independent Ball
